Sthita Pattanaik

Sthita Pattnaik is a prominent Odia filmmaker, lyricist, producer, and director. Before stepping into the spotlight of the entertainment world, he led a very different professional life, spending 14 years working in the banking and pharmaceutical sectors. Despite his corporate career, he always had a deep-rooted passion for music and arts. He is classically trained in music and holds a Sangeet Visharad degree in playing the violin, which eventually paved his way into the Odia entertainment industry. A Foundation Built on Production (ପ୍ରଯୋଜନା ଉପରେ ଆଧାରିତ ଭିତ୍ତିଭୂମି) Before stepping into the director's chair for a feature-length film, Pattnaik established himself as a highly successful producer through his media production house, "Reels n Reels." He began his production journey with the music video Heartbeat and has since produced over 150 music videos. He made his grand debut as a film producer with the critically appreciated movie Atithi (also known as Atithi: The Unwanted Guest ), which starred heavyweights like Manoj Mishra and Anu Choudhury. He also served as a co-producer for the film Misiri . By working extensively as a producer—including on short films and web series like Goolam , Marichika , Nisabda Sahara , and Basti —Pattnaik has developed a deep understanding of the logistical, financial, and audience-driven aspects of cinema. A Creative Force: Director & Lyricist (ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶନା ଓ ଗୀତିକାର ଭାବରେ ଯାତ୍ରା) Proving his versatility, Pattnaik made his directorial debut with the music video Sunyata and has successfully directed over 40 songs, short films, and web projects. Leveraging his classical musical background, he is also a prolific lyricist who has penned over 100 songs for the Odia industry. Some of his notable written tracks include Lakhe Tankia Hasa , Goolam , Deewangi , Rabana , and Prema Gadi .
