Anu Chaoudhury

Anu Choudhury (born Anusuya Dash Choudhury on August 30, 1979) is an immensely versatile Indian actress and an enduring icon of the Odia film industry (Ollywood). Born in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, into a family deeply entrenched in the arts—her father was a respected film editor—she was exposed to the technical and creative aspects of cinema from a very young age. She is an alumna of Rama Devi Women's University. Beyond her illustrious acting career, she has also established a prominent footprint in public service, having joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2018 and serving as a Vice President of the BJP Mahila Morcha in Odisha.
